Have you ever had the craving for a particular dish or meal, but cannot seem to find a recipe for it? If this sounds like you, there is no need to fret. The fact of the matter is that recipes are available all over the place. Just because you are not a master chef does not mean that you cannot find cooking recipes. If you know where to look for recipes you should never have any problem getting started with your next delicious meal.
Here are three places that you can find cooking recipes without having to spend hours looking for them.
1. The most obvious place to find cooking recipes is in a cookbook. Paper recipes are what the majority of people turn to when they are trying to make a dish that they are not familiar with. After all, paper recipes allow you to keep the instructions handy as you move through the process. The good thing about cookbooks is that there are hundreds of them for sale, with each on touching on a unique topic. You can find a cookbook that covers everything from bread making to desserts.
2. When searching for cooking recipes never overlook a good friend. Chances are that if you like to cook, you probably know somebody else that shares the passion. Why not swap recipes so that everybody can enjoy? Trading paper recipes with a friend is one of the most overlooked ways of finding new dishes to make.
3. Of course, you can search for recipes online. If there is something that you need information on in a hurry, the internet is the place to look. Computer recipes allow you to find what you need without having to buy a single thing. In addition, many people have decided to go the internet route because they can print out the computer recipes and take them to the kitchen. It does not get much easier than that.
Regardless of what type of recipe you are in need of, the fact of the matter is that they can be found in a number of different places. If you do not have luck with one of the options listed above, you can always try the next. And if none of them work for you, why not find your own way of compiling recipes?
The bottom line is that you do not have to be a cooking professional to find quality recipes.
“On-the-go” food recipes for kids that don’t require any type of cooking?
I’m having to come up with a cooking activity for a daycamp that I work at for kids ages 4-12, who also have disabilities. The theme for next week is “Transportation” so I’m thinking that I’d like to have a simple no-cook recipe (as we don’t have a stove or oven) that relates to the theme, or very close to it…such as being “on the go.” Making a trail mix is out as we already did that last week.
Any ideas????
This one is from Rachael Ray’s cookbook for kids…
Celery Boats with Carrot Sails
4 servings
4 stalks celery
2 slices cheese – cheddar, pepper jack, American
1/2c whipped cream cheese or soft herb cheese, like Alouette
Sweet paprika
1 large carrot, peeled
Trim a long thing strip off the round side of the celery so it sits flat.
Cut the deli cheese into 1 inch stips and line the celery with the cheese.
Fill the celery with the whipped cream cheese or herb cheese, spreading it over the sliced cheese.
Sprinkle filled celery with paprika. These are your “boats”.
Thinly slice the carrot diagonally into ovals. Cut each oval in half on a diagonal and you get two triangle “sails” with rounded edges.
Set the sails into each boat by pushing the rounded edge into the cheese to make the sails stand up.

Do you want to know how much your motorcycle is worth? Are you curious as to what its trade in or retail value is? Maybe you just want to know what you should expect to pay for a new or used bike. Well you might be interested to know that there is more than one resource available to you for these purposes.
There are two main pricing guides in the United States – the Kelley Blue Book and The National Automobile Dealers Association or NADA guides. Some people feel that the NADA guides are a better source than the Kelly Blue Book because the National Automobile Dealers Association is currently the largest publisher of Appraisal Guides in the world. NADA has been in business since 1933 and their handbooks provide information for almost every motor vehicle that has ever been made.
Kelley Blue Book is the most well-known pricing guide and has been in business for more than 80 years. But they publish more than one price guide for used vehicles including motorcycles, so be careful if you are consulting a dealer because the one they are using is likely to be the version labeled “Kelley Blue Book Auto Market Report Official Guide. The book says that suggested retail values represent Kelley Blue Book’s estimated dealer asking price, but you can bet a dealer won’t show you those figures. Better to grab your own copy and do some pricing research yourself so you dont get taken advantage of.
Check out motorcyclebluebook.com for pricing on a huge selection of bikes. By selecting the make, model and year of the bike youre interested in, the website will send you an email with information on the value and selling prices for any particular motorcycle.
One more pricing guide you may want to look into is Edmunds.com. This is an online information site which also supplies you with the value of your motorcycle, or expected pricing for the make and model that you are interested in.
You can purchase the books or visit any or all of these websites. Enter information about the condition of the motorcycle you presently own and want to sell or appraise, including any custom work and options, or do a query for pricing on a new or used bike you want to purchase. You will be provided with trade-in, suggested retail value and private party pricing. Youll want to keep in mind also that motorcycle

My friends and colleagues consider me as the audio books expert. They tell their friends that they know an audio books expert and the outcome is that I keep getting dozens of audio books questions and inquiries each day. I have decided to gather the most frequently asked questions for everyones benefit.
Here are the top five frequently asked questions about audio books (and the answers of course):
1. Are there free audio books? How do I get them?
In one word: NO. In two words: Not exactly. Depends of the type of audio book you are looking for (downloadable audio book are cheaper than the other types), and the audio book title (new audio books cost more), you could find low cost audio books.
I believe that one should pay for each product or service he gets. Yet, you could find free audio books mostly by signing up for the free trials most of the online audio book services give you.
2. What is better Audio books rental or audio books buying?
I personally prefer audio books rental. Mostly because of the price I read a lot of audio books and it will simply cost too much to buy them all. However, audio books that I really like, Ones that I want to listen to time after time, I buy and keep them on my audio books library.
Yet, I have friends who are more possessive they are not willing to rent audio books and they must hold a remarkable huge audio book library.
3. What do you suggest downloadable audio books, audio books on CD or books on tape?
Well, thats a tough question. Basically, I believe that the most worthy audio books format nowadays is downloadable audio books. You must own a media player (e.g. Ipod) to listen to it. Yet, it costs less than the others and has a better quality.
However, the widest collection of audio books could be found on the audio books on CD format. If you want to listen to old books you will find them only on CDs.
I do not recommend getting books on tape (also known as audio books on cassettes). They are expensive, low quality and not user friendly.
4. When can I read audio books?
The answer is – Anytime and anywhere. Here are a few examples: While cooking, cleaning the house, exercising, running, walking, driving, flying, before going to sleep, commuting, working etc.
5. Are audio books expensive?
AUDIO BOOKS a new approach
Audio books are not expensive at all. In fact, Downloadable audio books are very cheap they cost much less than real books and renting them is the most worthy deal. Audio books on CD cost about the same as real books and books on tape are the most expensive ones.
